Ikona Imaging provides Spectricon products for the future of spectral imaging technology. Spectricon’s spectral cameras capture spatial and spectral data in real time, revealing details beyond conventional imaging. Their advanced sensors and software deliver precise, pixel-level spectral maps for powerful analysis in research, industry, and field applications.
Features
- Real-time inspection at any desired spectral band(s);
- No trade-off between spatial and spectral resolution;
- Ultra wide spectral range of operation;
- Direct adaptability to all lenses, microscopes and telescopes; and
- Hand held, turnkey operation.
Spectricon’s innovations have made it possible. The future of spectral imaging is here!
Technology
- Utilizes an electro-optic tunable filter module which synchronously scans narrow-band images without mechanical scanning, enabling acquisition of a full spectral cube (x, y, λ) with high throughput and minimal moving parts. spectricon.com+3Photon Lines Recherche+3spectricon.com+3
- Achieves extremely high light throughput (for example ~94% for the VIS-VNIR model) by eliminating traditional slits and maximizing transmission, which improves sensitivity especially in low-light or high-speed applications. Photon Lines Recherche+1
- Supports broad spectral ranges, e.g., the model MUSES9‑MS covers ~365-1700 nm, allowing simultaneous access to visible, near-infrared and short-wave infrared wavelengths in a single imaging system. spectricon.com+1
- Offers high spatial resolution sensors (e.g., 6.4 MP full-frame) paired with the tunable filter, so each spatial pixel carries full spectral information rather than sacrificing spatial detail for spectral bands. Photon Lines Recherche+1
- Mounts with standard C-mount optics and is compatible with microscopes, telescopes or machine-vision setups, making the technology flexible for lab, in-line, airborne or field deployments. spectricon.com+2Photon Lines Recherche+2
- Includes powerful internal calibration & processing functionality (dark/noise correction, spectral classification, mapping) integrated into the software platform, reducing the need for extensive external post-processing.
